Tokyo Sky Tree!
Went to check this newly opened tower since it was a great day yesterday!


"Welcome to the Skytree, a Broadcasting, restaurant, and observation type tower located Sumida, Tokyo. It is a brand new Tower that just finished its construction on February 29th 2012, with its opening to the Public on May 22 2012.

The Tokyo Skytree as of March 2011 is the tallest tower in the world reaching a complete height of 634 Meters or 2080 ft.

For Access to the Sky Tree, one of the nearest stations is Oshiage station connecting TOBU SKYTREE LineTokyo Metro Hanzomon LineNarita SKY ACCESS Keisei LineToei Asakusa Line"

    Great video about your Sky Tree trip, so now they officially call it Solamachi or is that the name for the entire base area? When I was in Tokyo last year I've been visiting the site while it was under construction and walked from Kinshicho station. Looks like they've opened a new station closer to the Sky tree or was that one already there? Thanks for the video as it brings back some nice memories. Domo arigato.     1. I believe the base mall area is officially Solamachi. Said so on signs everywhere. The new station is called Tokyo Sky Tree Station, I'm pretty sure that was new but I don't know which lines run through it. Thanks for watching! :D
